John R. Stoebner practices in the areas of bankruptcy and real estate law. He has for many years been rated “AV,” the highest available peer review rating, in Martindale-Hubbell. His real estate experience includes representing clients in both residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, refinancing, and the litigation of real property tax assessments.
In the area of bankruptcy law, John serves as a member of the Panel of Private Bankruptcy Trustees for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. He has served as a trustee in more than 25,000 Chapter 7 cases and currently serves as trustee in the Polaroid Corporation Chapter 7 case which is the largest Chapter 7 bankruptcy case in Minnesota history. In addition to serving as a bankruptcy trustee, John also represents both creditors and debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters.
