David practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and business law. He represents companies and individuals in commercial and residential real estate, including purchases, financing, and commercial leasing. He also has extensive experience in organizing businesses, negotiating commercial contracts, estate planning for business owners, and handling probate matters. David has been privileged to counsel many clients on a wide variety of successful real estate and business transactions and to promptly, effectively, and economically represent his clients' interests.  By listening to and understanding their business concerns, David is able to accomplish the best possible results for his clients.   

David is a Minnesota State Bar Association Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist and is a member of the Real Property Sections of the Minnesota and American Bar Associations.  He has been named a "Super Lawyer" in real estate law by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine and has spoken at many continuing legal education seminars on real estate law and commercial leasing.  David has for many years been rated "AV", the highest available peer review rating, in Martindale-Hubbell. 

David received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1973. He has been with the firm since 1973 and a shareholder since 1978. 

David lives in Mendota Heights where he was a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission for over twelve years.  He has been involved in coaching various youth sports, served as the President and a Board member for several youth sports organizations, and participated on the local School District's Community Education Advisory Committee.
